Are leaders born or made?

Leadership is a valuable characteristic trait to posses. However the age old question is whether leaders born or made? The truth is some people are born with natural gifts and abilities that make leadership look easy, but the ability to lead is also a collection of skills that can be learned by any individual. The key to becoming a great leader like the late Martin Luther King is to never stop learning, because leaning brings about growth. Therefore in order to establish yourself as one of the "greats" you must first gain knowledge of all the different components that leadership entails.
